Job description

The Staff Pad is partnering with a global leader in fine art logistics and looking to hire a dependable, experienced and skilled Driver responsible for the safe transportation, delivery, packing, and installation of high-value furniture and artwork at their Carbondale, CO location.

This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in precision, professionalism, and teamwork while working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

What You’ll Do

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and relay all company, project and installation-related information with team members
  • Provide leadership and actively participate in team meetings focused on operations, planning and performance goals
  • Prepare, maintain and manage documentation including Condition Reports, BOLs, Supply Lists, ADV Forms, Invoices and Matrix Sheets
  • Track labor hours, tools and materials to support accurate job costing and invoicing
  • Tag, photograph, measure, inventory and consolidate items for secure storage and transportation
  • Maintain the cleanliness, organization and operational readiness of trucks, equipment and installation kits
  • Train, mentor and support team members in the proper handling, packing, moving and installation of furniture and artwork
  • Ensure all client property is handled and transported according to company standards and best practices
  • Identify, troubleshoot and resolve challenges that arise during installations, relocations and packing projects
  • Safely and effectively operate all required tools, equipment and machinery
  • Adhere to safe driving practices and maintain compliance with driver safety standards
  • Report damages immediately and complete all required documentation within 24 hours
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to develop effective solutions and resolve operational issues
  • Implement, promote and train team members in preventive measures to minimize damage and improve service quality
  • Continuously expand knowledge of furniture & artwork handling techniques, storage and transport
  • Develop specialized skills in packing, installation, shipping, and crating techniques
  • Participate in cross-training initiatives within the operations team
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and collaboration across departments to support organizational success

Additional Duties

  • Complete all administrative documentation required for project completion
  • Adhere to company dress code and always maintain a professional appearance
  • Demonstrate professionalism and patience with clients
  • Use time, materials, and resources efficiently & perform other duties as assigned

What We Are Looking For

Education, Experience & Skills:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 2–3 years of experience in moving, packing, delivery, installation, or a related field
  • Previous customer service and leadership experience preferred
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret documents
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic math proficiency
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions independently
  • Valid Driver's license with current proof of insurance required

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to walk, bend, crouch, climb stairs, and safely lift or carry up to 100 lbs.
  • Manual dexterity to handle materials, equipment, and tools with precision
  • Visual ability to perform close-up and distance work, including depth perception and focus adjustment

What You Can Expect

Work Environment

  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts, hazardous materials and equipment
  • Risk of electrical shock from use of powered tools
  • Moderate to high noise levels in warehouse and operational settings
  • Travel between client locations, warehouses, and storage sites as needed

Work Schedule

  • Full-time schedule, typically 40 hours per week
  • Hours generally fall between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM based on operational needs
  • Occasional overtime, weekend work, and travel required (up to 25%, including overnight and out-of-state assignments)


Sign-On Bonus

The employee will be eligible for a sign-on bonus totaling $1,000, payable as follows:

  • $250 will be paid after the successful completion of the employee's first five (5) full working days.
  • $750 will be paid upon the successful completion of ninety (90) days of continuous employment.

To qualify for the sign-on bonus payments, the employee must:

  • Remain actively employed through each payout date.
  • Maintain satisfactory job performance.
  • Have no No Call/No Show occurrences during the first ninety (90) days of employment.
