Job description

The Staff Pad is partnering with a global leader in fine art logistics and looking to hire a dependable, experienced and skilled Driver responsible for the safe transportation, delivery, packing, and installation of high-value furniture and artwork at their Carbondale, CO location. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in precision, professionalism, and teamwork while working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. If you're detail-oriented, proactive, and enjoy leading in the field-this is a great opportunity to join a highly respected organization within the fine art logistics industry.

Schedule: Full-Time (typically 40 hours per week) | 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (based on operational needs) Occasional overtime, weekends, and travel up to 25%, including overnight and out-of-state assignments What You'll Do Key Responsibilities Lead and relay all company, project and installation-related information with team members Provide leadership and actively participate in team meetings focused on operations, planning and performance goals Prepare, maintain and manage documentation including Condition Reports, BOLs, Supply Lists, ADV Forms, Invoices and Matrix Sheets Track labor hours, tools and materials to support accurate job costing and invoicing Tag, photograph, measure, inventory and consolidate items for secure storage and transportation Maintain the cleanliness, organization and operational readiness of trucks, equipment and installation kits Safely and effectively operate all required tools, equipment and machinery Train, mentor and cross-train team members on furniture and artwork handling, packing, moving, installation, safety and damage-prevention practices Ensure all client property is handled and transported according to company standards and best practices Identify, troubleshoot and resolve challenges that arise during installations, relocations and packing projects Partner with internal and external stakeholders to develop effective solutions and resolve operational issues Adhere to safe driving practices and maintain compliance with driver safety standards Report damages immediately and complete all required documentation within 24 hours Develop and continuously expand expertise in furniture and artwork handling, packing, installation, shipping, crating, storage and transportation Contribute to knowledge sharing and collaboration across departments to support organizational success Additional Duties Adhere to company dress code and always maintain a professional appearance Demonstrate professionalism and patience with clients Use time, materials, and resources efficiently & perform other duties as assigned What We Are Looking For Qualifications High school diploma or GED required 2-3 years of commercial driving experience operating 16- to 26-foot straight trucks Familiarity with fine art transportation and climate-controlled vehicles Experience in moving, packing, delivery, installation, or a related field Previous customer service experience preferred Valid Driver's license with current proof of insurance required Additional Skills & Attributes Clean and acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) Ability to read, understand, and interpret documents Effective verbal and written communication skills Basic math proficiency Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions independently Ability to walk, bend, crouch, climb stairs, lift up to 100 lbs., and safely handle materials, equipment and tools with visual and manual precision What You Can Expect Work Environment Exposure to moving mechanical parts, hazardous materials and equipment Risk of electrical shock from use of powered tools Moderate to high noise levels in warehouse and operational settings Travel between client locations, warehouses, and storage sites as needed Sign-On Bonus Eligible for a $1,000 sign-on bonus: $250 after successfully completing the first 5 full working days $750 after 90 days of continuous employment Eligibility: Must remain actively employed through each payout date, maintain satisfactory performance, and have no NoCall/No Show occurrences during the first 90 days.
