Position: BI SQL/Tableau Reporting Developer
Location: Remote
Duration: 3-6 months + possible extension

Client : Blue Cloud / Charles Schwab
Responsibilities:
Report requirements from the business users by gathering data
Experience with Reporting Automation from Excel to Tableau
Good to have Denodo Data Virtualization tool experience
Extracting, transforming, cleansing and loading data from a variety of source platforms into the target platform using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
Working alongside with the Software Development teams to build out and develop SQL Server-based business intelligence (SSRS Reports, Database Views, Stored Procedures).
Conducting performance tuning as well as optimization for database queries (SQL stored procedures).
Creating new stored procedures and database views.
Troubleshooting complex performance issues within the database/ data warehouse.
Generating regular weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports in Tableau, or similar tools.
Participating in creating Dashboards and Reports on the front-end, with advanced filtering and drill-down capabilities (using Tableau Desktop, experienced with similar visualization tools).
Creating ad-hoc reports as requested by business stakeholders.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or better in an IT related field.
7 years prior experience in a Database Development or Business Intelligence role.
5+ years' experience in the SQL Business Intelligence Stack (T-SQL, SSRS, SSIS).
Experience in SQL Scripting and Stored Procedures
3+ years' experience using Tableau and creating dashboards
Experience in creating data visualizations and dashboards using Tableau
Advanced SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
Advanced SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
Strong T-SQL and Stored Procedures experience
Advanced SQL Stored Procedures
Experience in creating Database Views
Excellent Communication skills
Good to have Front end Development skills: JavaScript, jQuery, JQGrid, HTML
Good to have Azure Cloud Experience
