Job description

Title: Database Administrator

Education: Bachelor's degree, or equivalent in an engineering or computer field

Certification: Security+ or other IAT II certification

Clearance: Top Secret

Location: Herndon VA

Summary:

Data Administrator will work on collecting, storing, processing, and analyzing huge sets of data. The primary focus will be on choosing optimal solutions to use for these purposes, then maintaining, implementing, and monitoring them. The DBA will also be responsible for integrating them with the architecture used across the SPOT project. Strong dimensional data modeling experience, star schemas including an understanding of extraction, transformation, and load processes from operational source systems into the data warehouse. Have strong SQL Server 2012 and above experience with SSIS, SSAS knowledge with strong OLAP development experience (Data warehouse concepts, cube design, fact, dimension structure, Data Mart development, etc…). Working knowledge/experience with MDX queries.

Experience:

  • 3-6 years’ experience working with MS SQL 2012 or later
  • Prefer experience MS SQL technologies including SSAS, SSIS, SSRS
  • Prefer previous experience with clustered database environments.
