About the Opportunity:
Seasonal Rental & Retail Associate
Morganton Point Campground & Recreation Area, Morganton, GA
Looking for an unforgettable job by the lake? FIND Outdoors is hiring Seasonal Retail & Rentals Associates at the beautiful Morganton Point Campground! If you love the outdoors, enjoy working with people, and want to spend your days surrounded by nature (and maybe even get out on the water!), this could be the perfect gig for you.
We're looking for friendly, outgoing team members who can keep the good vibes flowing while helping customers with retail purchases and outdoor rentals like kayaks. Whether you're greeting guests, setting them up for a day on the lake, or stocking cool merch, you'll be a key part of creating awesome experiences for our visitors.
RESPONSIBLITIES:
  1. Greeting and assisting visitors
  2. Handling retail sales using the point of sale system
  3. Helping guests rent kayaks and other gear (and showing them how to use it safely)
  4. Keeping track of gear rentals, cleaning equipment, and making sure everything is in top shape
  5. Restocking, organizing, and stickering merchandise
  6. Assisting with inventory counts and retail operations
  7. Coordinates beach parking with gatehouse.
  8. Identifies safety and/or maintenance issues to management staff.
  9. Communicates with Site Manager when emergencies arise as well as when site rules are not being followed.
  10. Other duties as needed

SKILLS
  1. Ability to effectively use retail point of sale system to update counts
  2. Mathematical skills

  4. Critical thinking and problem-solving skill
  5. Attention to detail and organizational skills
  6. Lift and move boxes, cartons, or tubs weighing up to 40 lbs.

Starting Pay- $12.00/Hour
