Job description

Property Staff Accountant (Temporary Contract) Location: Palm Beach, FL Schedule: Full-Time, Fully Onsite Duration: 3-6 Month Contract Pay: $25-$35/hour DOE
A well-established organization in Palm Beach is seeking a Property Staff Accountant for a temporary 3-6 month assignment. This is a fully onsite role supporting the accounting team with day-to-day accounting functions and financial reporting activities.
Responsibilities:
  • Process accounts payable invoices and vendor payments
  • Assist with accounts receivable, cash receipts, and collections support
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and account reconciliations
  • Assist with month-end close activities
  • Support financial reporting and analysis
  • Review and maintain accounting records for accuracy and completeness
  • Assist with journal entries and accruals
  • Research and resolve accounting discrepancies
  • Provide additional accounting support as needed
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a Staff Accountant, Property Accountant, or similar accounting role
  • Strong understanding of AP, AR, general ledger, and reconciliations
  • Experience with month-end close and financial reporting preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Property management or real estate accounting experience is a plus
Compensation & Benefits:
