Position Overview

As a Solution Architect within PNC's i.Corporate Functions Technology (CFT) - Enterprise Technology - Solution Architecture organization, you will be based in Denver, Co, Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, Birmingham, AL or Dallas, TX.
This position may not be available in all geographic areas.
Needed Qualifications:
i.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
i.Strong understanding of AML/bank secrecy regulatory requirements and audit expectations.
i.Experience implementing or supporting AML platforms (e.g., Oracle FCCM, Actimize or equivalent).
i.Proven experience designing large-scale data processing architectures (batch-heavy environments).
i.Experience working with cross-functional teams including compliance, fraud, and data engineering.
Needed Technical Skills:
i.Strong expertise in data ingestion architectures (batch pipelines, ETL frameworks, scheduling tools such as CA7).
i.Experience with ETL platforms (e.g., Informatica) and modern data frameworks (e.g., Spark, distributed processing).
i.Understanding of AML transaction monitoring, alert generation, case management, and SAR workflows.
i.Familiarity with model integration patterns (ML/analytics pipelines).
i.Knowledge of microservices and event-driven architectures (preferred future-state capability).
i.Experience with observability, logging, and data lineage tracking.
i.Familiarity with different types of UML diagrams.
i.Familiarity with Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN).
Communication:
i.Excellent communication, with the ability to present complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
i.Ability to translate regulatory and business requirements into clear architectural designs.
i.Experience engaging senior stakeholders (CIO, EA, compliance leadership) in decision-making.

Job Description
  • Designs solution roadmaps, according to business strategies and processes in solution architecture, through client requirement analysis, cross-team collaboration and problem resolution.
  • Designs solution roadmaps, and system and software architecture according to business strategies and solution architecture standards/processes.
  • Analyzes client requirements and determines appropriate solutions to these requirements based on business needs.
  • Resolves routine to moderately complex problems and issues in solution architecture; assesses any potential risks and determines solutions to these risks.
  • Works with other solution architecture staff, technology experts and business stakeholders to provide functional support to clients on solution architecture updates.

Base Salary: $100,100.00 - $185,900.00
Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
