Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and consultative Workday Financials Solution Architect with expertise in Foundation Data Model (FDM) to join our team. The Solution Architect will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and optimization of the Workday Financials suite, with a strong focus on the FDM. This role involves working closely with finance, IT, and other business stakeholders to ensure our Workday Financials solution aligns with our strategic financial goals and operational requirements. You will be a part of a dynamic team that is passionate about driving process improvements and cost savings through innovative solutions. Responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted advisor to Finance and business leaders, providing insights and recommendations on leveraging Workday Financials and FDM to meet organizational goals.
  • Conduct workshops and meetings to gather detailed requirements and understand business processes.
  • Design and configure the FDM and other modules to support accurate financial reporting and analysis.
  • Ensure solutions align with industry best practices and business objectives.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across integrated systems.
  • Stay current with Workday updates and releases, assessing their impact and advising on necessary adjustments.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and enhanced system functionality.
  • Lead initiatives to improve financial reporting, compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee Workday Financials and FDM implementation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Develop and communicate project plans, timelines, and status reports to stakeholders.

Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of Workday Financials modules, including Financial Accounting, Supplier Accounts, Customer Accounts, Business Assets, Procurement and Banking and Settlement.
  • Expertise in FDM configuration and management.
  • Proficiency in Workday integration tools and technologies.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.
  • 4+ years of experience with Workday Financials implementation and support
  • Workday certification in Workday FDM and/or other Financials modules preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

For salaried positions, this role may also be eligible for an annual performance bonus. Additional benefits and perks may also be available, depending on the position and employment terms. This range reflects consideration of several factors, including skills, experience, training, certifications, and organizational needs.
