Job description

Job Description BAE Systems is seeking a Modeling and Simulations (M&S) Software Developer to support our government customer in a mission critical role related to modeling and simulations. The M&S Software Developer develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems) based upon documented requirements. Required Education, Experience, & Skills * Must be a US citizen and possess a Secret level clearance * Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field, and minimum of 4 years work experience or equivalent experience * Modeling and simulations experience * Software development in high level language (C++) * Software engineering processes, methodologies, and tools * Software testing, validation, and verification activities * Collaborate with Systems, CM, and other Software Engineers across the full software lifecycle. * Solve tough engineering challenges - debugging, fixing, and integrating software across multiple baselines. Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills * Physics-based modeling and simulations * Agile Development experience * Designing and/or implementing software algorithms Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $72150 - $122655 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
