As a Software Engineer Lead within PNC's Site Reliability Center (SRC) organization, you will be based in one of PNC's IT Hubs; Denver, Colorado; Dallas, Texas; Cleveland, Ohio; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania: Birmingham, Alabama, Phoenix, Arizona or remotely from within the PNC footprint.
In this role, you will lead a team of software engineers that support critical applications in the retail banking area. We are seeking a technical lead engineer with strong leadership, project management , initiative and follow up skills.
A combination of experience with OpenShift, Hogan, Dynatrace, Linux is required. Experience with Windows Server, Oracle, SQL, Mongo DB is a plus. Experience working with a site reliability engineering group is desired.
Rotating on-call support amongst team members is required for critical incidents after hours. This position may be eligible for remote work in select geographic locations, subject to approval by PNC. If approved, work must be conducted from a quiet, secure, and confidential home-based workspace. Occasional in-office participation may be required based on business needs. PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position. Job Description
  • Creates and leads the technical design and development of software solutions.
  • Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs. Prepares technical and procedural documentation required.
  • Facilitates complex problem resolution.
