Job description

As a leading publisher of financial ideas, we help everyday investors navigate the markets with confidence. Through our equity and options-based research services, we deliver the ideas, education, and actionable insight our subscribers rely on to make smarter, more profitable decisions.

We're looking for a Senior Financial Research Analyst who can do something rare: think rigorously about the markets and communicate those ideas in a way that genuinely connects with people. This is a role for someone equally comfortable dissecting an options strategy, writing research that subscribers actually want to read, and stepping in front of a live audience to teach and explain what's happening and why.

Beyond research and communication, you'll also play a hands-on role in shaping the tools of our trade—collaborating on the proprietary trading software that powers our services and sets us apart. If you're a sharp analytical mind with a gift for the written and spoken word and an interest in building better tools for investors, we'd like to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Produce clear, compelling written research, market commentary, and trade recommendations across our equity and options-based services
  • Host and present on live programs, webinars, and video segments that engage, educate, and inform subscribers in real time
  • Translate complex financial concepts and market dynamics into accessible insights for a broad subscriber audience
  • Develop and stress-test equity and options trading strategies, and communicate the reasoning behind each recommendation
  • Collaborate with developers and quantitative staff to help design, refine, and build proprietary trading software and analytical tools
  • Monitor markets, economic developments, and individual securities to identify actionable opportunities

            Qualifications

            • Strong written and verbal communication skills. You know how to tell a compelling story out loud and on paper
            • Proven experience in equity and options research, analysis, or trading
            • Strong command of options strategies, valuation methods, and technical/fundamental analysis
            • Exceptional written communication skills, with a portfolio of published financial content preferred
            • Confident on-camera and live presentation presence; able to teach and hold an audience
            • Working knowledge of trading software, data platforms, and tools such as Python, Excel, or comparable languages; ability to contribute to software development is a strong plus
            • An independent thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit. You’re great at solving problems with minimal direction and are constantly coming up with ideas to improve processes and projects to generate revenue.

                        Compensation - Base Salary: $75,000.00 - 85,000.00 annually

Location & Work Arrangement - Baltimore, Maryland, Full-Time in office

We offer competitive compensation, great benefits, and the opportunity to work in a respected, supportive, ambitious culture with tremendous growth opportunities even at the senior level.
