Financial Reporting AccountantLocation: Portland, OR (Hybrid - 3 days per week in office)
Compensation: $85,000-$95,000 base salary + 10-15% target bonus
Travel: Approximately 10-15%
About the OpportunityA growing organization is adding an
Accountant, Financial Reporting to support increased reporting requirements and continued business growth. This role offers exposure to complex accounting matters, financial statement preparation, consolidations, intercompany accounting, external audits, and process improvement initiatives.
The position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, wants visibility across the accounting function, and is looking to expand their experience within a multi-entity organization.
Responsibilities- Assist with quarterly and annual financial statement preparation, including:
- Support consolidations and financial reporting across multiple legal entities.
- Prepare and post intercompany journal entries and perform related reconciliations.
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
- Support external financial statement audits and manage audit requests and deliverables.
- Participate in accounting process improvements, automation initiatives, and system optimization projects.
- Assist with ad hoc accounting and finance projects as needed.
What We're Looking For- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Approximately 3-5 years of accounting experience - mix of Public Accounting and Corporate accounting is preferred
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial statement preparation.
- Experience with multi-entity and intercompany accounting environments.
- Experience working within an ERP environment.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- CPA designation preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage deadlines and follow through on commitments.
