Job Description

Lead the accurate and timely production of shareholder reports, financial statements, and regulatory filings for a diverse portfolio of investment products, including mutual funds, ETFs, 529 plans, separate accounts, private/hedge funds, and collective investment trusts (CITs). Provide oversight of audits, service provider relationships, and control activities while driving process improvements, automation, and operational excellence to enhance reporting quality, scalability, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities
35% Financial Reporting & Regulatory Compliance: Lead reporting and regulatory activities for assigned funds, including shareholder reports, financial statements, and regulatory filings. Ensure timely, accurate, and complete reporting in compliance with GAAP, SEC, and other applicable regulatory requirements. Serve as the escalation point for reporting issues, exceptions, and complex filing matters.


20% Governance, Controls & Risk Management: Establish and maintain a robust control environment by overseeing accounting policies, reporting procedures, internal controls, and service provider oversight framework. Ensure audit readiness through effective documentation, monitoring, and testing activities while maintaining compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements. Monitor reporting quality and lead resolution of control, reporting, and compliance-related issues.

15%: Strategic Business Partnership & Change Execution: Partner with key stakeholders across Legal, Tax, Internal Audit, Product Management, Fund Administration, and service providers to support new products, regulatory developments, and strategic business initiatives. Assess financial reporting impacts, identify required process and system enhancements, and lead implementation of reporting solutions that support evolving business and regulatory requirements.

15%: Technical Accounting, Audit & Regulatory Leadership: Serve as a technical resource on complex accounting and financial reporting matters and lead the implementation of new accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Lead coordination with audits and provide subject matter expertise on reporting interpretations, policy application, and disclosure requirements and issue resolution.

15%: Operational Excellence, Transformation & Talent Development: Drive continuous improvement of the financial reporting operating model through process optimization, automation, emerging technologies, and scalable operating practices. Provide leadership, coaching, and development to staff, fostering technical excellence, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.


Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and 5-7 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior public accounting mutual fund/private fund audit experience and/or experience working in Fund Administration at third party service provider or in Reporting Oversight at Asset Management Firm.

We are a client-centric, relationship-based business. Working together, in-person, is foundational to how we achieve results. By fostering a culture of face-to-face collaboration, idea sharing, productivity and personal connection, we deliver for our stakeholders - clients, advisors, employees and shareholders. Our employees work in the office at least four (4) days per week, with flexibility to work from home one (1) day per week. Some roles may require additional in-office time or different in-office expectations, and specific requirements will be discussed during the hiring process.

Base Pay Salary

The estimated base salary for this role is $107,500- $169,200 / year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role. We also have a competitive and comprehensive benefits program that supports all aspects of your health and well-being, including but not limited to vacation time, sick time, 401(k), and health, dental and life insurances.
