Job description:
  • The Financial Project Manager at this experience level is responsible for managing complex financial projects within the organization.
  • This role is responsible for in depth financial analysis, cost control, and financial projections related to engineering procurement construction projects.
  • This role is responsible for interfacing with the business unit to help build schedules and provide updates on financial health of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the timeline and budget of each project Review and approves invoices under the Project Manager.
  • Provide cost projections and identifies cost trends for management. Track project progress Develop resource/cash flow plans to project future resource needs.
  • Identify, analyze, and provide solutions to cost engineering problems. Reviews expense forms or other invoice documentation for accuracy.
  • Monitor the scope, cost, and schedule for the project. Conduct in-depth financial analysis and forecasting.
  • Analyze price variances, investigate and determine cause
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
  • Over 5 years of engineering project/cost controls and financial project management experience required
  • Strong understanding of project financial management, cost estimation, and financial modeling.
