Job Description Summary:

ModMed is hiring an RCM Performance Analyst who will play a crucial role in optimizing ModMed's revenue cycle operations through data analysis, process improvement, and strategic collaboration. This individual will contribute to maximizing revenue realization and ensuring financial health.
Your Role:

  • Conduct in-depth data analytics to identify trends, issues, and opportunities within the revenue cycle, encompassing all stages from patient registration to claims resolution.

  • Lead and support process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and compliance within RCM.

  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including billing, coding, and product, to resolve complex revenue cycle problems and implement sustainable solutions.

  • Communicate findings, recommendations, and progress clearly and concisely to various stakeholders, both verbally and in written reports.

  • Utilize strong analytical thinking to interpret financial data, identify root causes of discrepancies, and propose actionable strategies.

  • Proactively identify areas for continuous improvement within RCM processes and propose innovative solutions.

  • Take initiative to investigate and resolve revenue cycle challenges, often working independently to drive projects forward.

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of revenue cycle strategies that align with organizational goals.

  • Track and present outcomes of recommendations and impact on revenue.

  • Demonstrate excellent problem resolution skills to address and mitigate revenue cycle roadblocks.

  • Work independently on assigned projects and tasks, while also fostering a collaborative environment.


Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) within a healthcare setting.

  • Proven experience with data analytics tools and methodologies.

  • Demonstrated ability in analytical thinking and problem resolution.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.

  • Strong understanding of continuous improvement principles and experience leading process improvement initiatives.

  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • Experience in strategy development related to revenue cycle optimization is highly desirable.
