Job description

FINANCIAL CONTROLLER Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage all financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and day-to-day expense management.
  • Lead company-wide budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Conduct regular financial audits across all departments, including reviews of operational spending, travel expenses, salaries, and other company costs.
  • Monitor and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance, comparing results against budgets and established targets.
  • Identify financial risks, operational inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost optimization.
  • Prepare clear financial reports and provide actionable insights to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure full compliance with accounting standards, local regulations, and internal financial policies.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain strong financial controls, policies, and procedures to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Work closely with operational teams to monitor revenue, spending, and cost drivers within logistics and transportation activities.
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts, perform scenario analyses, and provide recommendations related to financial planning and investments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification preferred).
  • At least 10 years of experience in financial management, preferably within logistics, transportation, or other operationally intensive industries.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Chinese or Korean is strongly preferred.
