Job description

About Vision Realty & Management

Vision Realty & Management is a trusted, fast-growing property management company serving the West Georgia and Metro Atlanta areas. We take pride in producing work that makes us proud - combining hospitality, integrity, and operational excellence. We're looking for a driven, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving problems others can't.

The Role

This role is for someone who owns the numbers. You'll be the go-to person for ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions across our property management operations - from rent postings to vendor payments and tenant billing. You'll support our property management and leadership teams by digging into discrepancies, identifying process improvements, and ensuring that financial data is clean, accurate, and timely.

This position offers a mix of in-office work (in Carrollton, GA) and remote flexibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and reconcile rent postings, security deposits, and owner disbursements

  • Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, ensuring all invoices and payments are properly coded and tracked

  • Generate and process bills for internal maintenance technicians and vendors

  • Create and track tenant utility invoices (e.g., water usage, trash, pest control)

  • Research and resolve accounting discrepancies or missing transactions

  • Assist with monthly financial reporting for owners and internal departments

  • Support leadership with system checks, audits, and balance reviews

  • Maintain vendor and owner ledgers within property management software

  • Collaborate with remote team members to ensure smooth financial operations across departments

  • Contribute ideas to improve financial workflows and reporting accuracy

✅ QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • 3+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial operations

  • Strong understanding of AP/AR processes

  • Proficiency with accounting software (experience with property management platforms like AppFolio, Buildium, or Propertyware a plus)

  • Excellent attention to detail - you catch small errors others miss

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Grit and follow-through: you don't stop until the numbers balance

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid setting

  • Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets

Preferred:

  • Prior experience in property management, real estate, or construction

  • Familiarity with owner statements, tenant ledgers, and security deposit accounting

  • Experience managing multiple entities or trust accounts
