Assistant Financial Manager - Northside

Description:

Education Requirements: High School Diploma or GED Experience: Minimum of two years experience in a patient account setting. Must be familiar wth all aspects of Registration and Billing for Northside. Knowledge of the Billing, Accounts Receivable, Payments, Adjustments, and Collection Procedures for Patient Financial Services is preferred. CPAR designation is preferred. Continuing education related to coding and registration preferred.

Required Skills: Analytical and organizational skills must be above average. Communication and public relations skills should be excellent. Must have in-depth knowkedge of all third party billing criteria and the action registration system. Must display quality leadership characteristics in performance of job duties and supervisory skills are essential.

Physical Demands: Good physical and mental health. Able to work under supervision or independently as directed by the situation and under stressful conditions.

Supervises: Unit Secretaries and any others as assigned by the Administrative Services Coordinator.
