What is a financial operations intern?

Financial Operations Interns are entry-level professionals who support the financial operations of an organization, often as part of a temporary internship program. They typically assist with tasks such as data entry, financial reporting, account reconciliation, and supporting audits. Their role provides them with practical experience in financial management, analysis, and the use of various accounting software. Interns work closely with finance teams to gain hands-on insight into the daily operations and challenges of the finance department.
