Job description

Role Summary

We're looking for a Finance Operations Associate to join our team and build a strong foundation across accounting, accounts payable, and finance operations. This role will own critical financial workflows, including Procure-to-Pay, vendor management, transaction processing, reconciliations, and financial systems support.

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys understanding how a business operates financially, improving processes, and building scalable systems. Over time, this person will expand into broader finance responsibilities, including reporting, FP&A support, and process ownership.

Responsibilities

Accounting & Accounts Payable

  • Own day-to-day Procure-to-Pay workflows, including vendor onboarding, invoice processing, coding, approvals, and payment coordination.
  • Ensure transactions are accurately recorded and properly supported within accounting systems.
  • Support month-end close activities, including reconciliations, accruals, prepaids, and account reviews.
  • Partner with Accounting to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.

Finance Operations & Systems

  • Improve finance workflows and identify opportunities to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Maintain and improve finance systems and integrations, including Ramp and NetSuite.
  • Support reporting and analysis by ensuring financial data is accurate and reliable.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Accounting, Finance, Operations, and Engineering teams to resolve financial process issues.
Qualifications
  • 0-2 years of experience, including internships or early-career roles in finance, accounting, operations, or similar.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and ownership mindset, with the ability to manage transactional responsibilities while looking for ways to improve processes.
  • High level of responsiveness and willingness to help others.
