About the Role

As a Financial Analyst at Z Modular, a division of Zekelman Industries, you will be a key part of our growing Finance team. In this highly visible role, you will partner with functional leaders to develop forecasts, budgets, and financial analyses that support our expanding multi-family housing portfolio. Reporting directly to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, you will help drive data-driven decision-making through financial modeling, forecasting, and business performance analysis. You will collaborate with finance leadership, operations teams, and senior management to ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results, project performance, and strategic initiatives. This is a full-time onsite role located in Chandler, AZ. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex business challenges, building insightful financial models, improving processes, and influencing key decisions across a growing organization.

What You'll Do
  • Leads and promotes healthy and safe work practices as required by regulatory agencies and Company policy.
  • Analyze the financial and operational performance of multi-family housing properties.
  • Ensure monthly project costs are recorded accurately and timely.
  • Prepare monthly financial results for construction projects and compare actual performance against forecasts and prior periods.
  • Investigate financial variances and identify the drivers behind anomalies.
  • Build financial forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range financial plans.
  • Develop financial models to forecast business outcomes and profitability.
  • Present analysis, findings, and recommendations to various levels of management and leadership.
  • Design and implement process improvements and automation solutions to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support monthly business performance reporting and leadership presentations.
  • Assist with additional FP&A and strategic finance initiatives as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Maintains regular, predictable, full-time onsite attendance during scheduled hours.
Who You Are
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • 2+ years of experience in a Financial Analyst, Accounting, or related role.
  • Any combination of relevant education and experience demonstrating proficiency in the essential functions of the position.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong reporting, presentation, and communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with senior leadership.
  • Experience working within ERP systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) is a plus.
  • Property management, real estate, or construction industry experience is preferred.
  • Experience with property management software is a plus.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.
