The Director of FP&A, OPENLANE Marketplace will serve as a strategic financial partner to the Marketplace leadership team. This role directly owns core financial forecast models while driving financial planning, forecasting, and strategic analysis at a business unit level, translating OPENLANE's overarching business goals into actionable financial strategies and data-driven insights. You will be responsible for driving financial transparency, maximizing business outcomes, and leading a high-performing team of financial analysts.

  • Execution & Forecasting Oversight (30%) Directly own, maintain, and ensure the integrity of core marketplace forecast models; drive execution of monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting cycles.

Who You Will Work With:
Reporting to the Head of FP&A , this role will collaborate with the Marketplaces leadership team on a regular basis: Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Customer-facing teams. Corporate Accounting, Corporate Treasury, and Tax leaders. Executive leadership and strategic product/business peers

Your work is ideally performed as a Hybrid employee out of our Global Headquarters in Carmel, Indiana.
Must Have's:
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A or corporate finance, including direct people leadership
  • Proven track record of managing a business unit P&L, budget, or complex marketplace ecosystem financial model
  • Strong communication, prioritization, financial storytelling, and executive presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage through rapid industry transitions, ambiguity, and change

Nice to Have's:
  • Experience working in automotive wholesale, technology, or digital marketplaces
  • Experience scaling corporate finance structures within a high-growth environment
  • Advanced degree (MBA) or professional financial certifications (CFA, CPA)
