Job description

Welcome to the Traegerhood:
Our business is BBQ, and business tastes good. Traeger invented the wood pellet grill over 30 years ago, and we've been revolutionizing outdoor cooking ever since. We're a team of disruptors, innovators, problem solvers, and food fanatics who are dedicated to bringing people together to create a more flavorful world. From our headquarters in Salt Lake City and beyond, we work tirelessly to provide a world-class experience to our customers, retailers, and especially our employees. If you're a team player who's dedicated to delivering top-quality results every day, then we want you to come cook with us!
What You'll Do:
As the Commercial Finance Manager, you will serve as the financial analytics partner embedded within Marketing and Sales, building the data and reporting infrastructure that connects go-to-market initiatives to financial outcomes. This is not a traditional P&L-ownership role - you'll be looking at marketing and sales data with a financial lens. You will translate channel performance, pricing, and promotional activity into financial terms that leadership can act on, blending analytical rigor with project management to bring structure to ambiguous, cross-functional data.
How You'll Help Us Win
  • Build and maintain a go-to-market financial data function in close partnership with Marketing and Sales
  • Translate go-to-market signals into structured financial scorecards and analysis
  • Calculate customer lifetime value (LTV) and evaluate ROI on marketing and sales investments
  • Support pricing analysis on a limited basis, including modeling tied to the planned accessories line relaunch
  • Compile and structure data from multiple marketing and sales sources into clear, usable financial models
  • Operate as a project manager with a financial lens, coordinating inputs across Marketing, Sales, and Finance
  • Serve as a financial liaison to VP-level stakeholders across Sales and Marketing, managing expectations and communicating clearly

What You'll Need to Succeed
  • BS required; MBA a plus
  • Background in FP&A, commercial finance, or a similarly analytical finance role
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint modeling skills
  • Familiarity with LTV, ROI, or investment analysis frameworks
  • Comfort working primarily outside traditional P&L - most of this role lives in marketing/sales data rather than financial statements
  • Strong project management instincts; able to compile ambiguous, cross-functional data into structured financial output
  • Excellent communication skills, including experience or comfort presenting to VP-level stakeholders
  • Preferred: experience at a consumer products, retail, or DTC/wholesale brand
  • Preferred: experience with Adaptive Planning or comparable planning tools
  • Nice to have: ability to pull data using SQL

Why You'll Love to Work Here:
  • Be part of the most disruptive force in outdoor cooking
  • Join a true team working towards a common goal
  • Culture of risk-taking, innovation, & quality
  • So. Much. Food.
  • Full medical/dental/vision package to fit your needs
  • 401k to help you plan for the future
  • Great discounts on all things Traeger
  • Did we mention all the food?
Traeger may use AI tools for resume-screening purposes.
