CLO Finance Associate Attorney

Location: New York (Open to other U.S. office locations including Charlotte, Chicago, D.C., Houston, Los Angeles, Palo Alto, San Francisco, Salt Lake City)

Direct Counsel is seeking an Associate with 3 to 5 years of experience to join a prestigious Am Law 100 firm in their CLO Finance practice. The successful candidate will have experience in collateralized loan obligations (CLOs) and related structured finance transactions. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to join a firm with a strong commitment to professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle CLO and related structured finance transactions.

  • Work on securitizations, warehouse financing, and other complex financing structures.

  • Advise clients on sophisticated financing deals, ensuring compliance and best practices.

  • Collaborate with partners and other team members in the Banking & Finance practice group to manage large, complex transactions.

Qualifications
  • Education: J.D. from a top-tier law school.

  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in CLOs, structured finance, and securitization.
