About this role
We are looking for a Senior Associate, Finance to own the entire finance function at a fast-growing biotech company digitizing the immune system. You'll report directly to the CEO, taking over from a consulting CFO, and be responsible for everything from closing the books to building production cost models that inform pricing and operational decisions across 30+ clinical trials.
What will you be doing?
  • Own monthly close, runway forecasts, and profitability reforecasts - full cutover from the existing consulting CFO
  • Build and maintain a production cost model to understand the true cost of serving each drug developer customer
  • Prepare board packages, investor updates, and fundraising materials
  • Manage accounts payable/receivable and oversee the outsourced bookkeeping firm for accuracy
  • Take on lateral operations functions as the company scales (supply forecasting, compensation modeling, cap table management)

Key Requirements
  • Proven ability to build financial models from scratch (operating models, unit economics, margin analysis)
  • Experience managing a month-end close process
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets proficiency
  • Comfortable being hands-on and operating autonomously as the sole finance hire
  • High attention to accuracy - must be detail-oriented with numbers and invoices
