Financial Manager - Level 5
What You Will Be Doing
The Financial Manager - Level5 will lead and develop a team of Program Finance professionals supporting F16 Production contracts. A broad range of business acumen will be required for this position including a familiarity of business processes associated with Proposals, Contracts, Estimating, Financial Planning & Analysis, Independent Cost Estimating, Earned Value Management and others. This role provides strategic financial oversight and ensures disciplined execution of financial processes. You will partner closely with Program Managers, crossfunctional stakeholders, and executive leadership to deliver accurate, compliant, and actionable financial insights that drive program success across the full lifecycle of F16 production.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a finance team responsible for financial forecasting and program performance analysis.
- Lead a finance team responsible for proposal development, negotiations, and contract support.
- Responsible for program execution activities, profitability analysis, and OSEC (Orders, Sales, EBIT, Cash) commitments.
- Responsible for Earned Value Management (EVM) and internal/external program reporting.
- Own overall financial performance management, including development, maintenance, and execution of program Estimates at Completion (EACs).
- Leadership of the Contract Status Review (CSR), LongRange Plan (LRP) process, and monthly/quarterly financial reviews.
- Apply broad business acumen across proposals, contracts, estimating, financial planning & analysis, independent cost estimating, and earned value management.
- Serve as a strategic partner to Program Managers and functional organizations by providing accurate, compliant financial insight and actionable recommendations.

- Communicate effectively with executive stakeholders, ensuring clear, concise, and timely financial information that supports decisionmaking.

Who You Are
You are a seasoned finance professional with deep experience in government or aerospace program finance, particularly within production environments. You have a proven track record of building, developing, and inspiring highperforming finance teams, and you possess strong knowledge of proposals, contracts, cost estimating, financial planning & analysis, independent cost estimating, and earned value management. Your expertise includes managing program financial performance-overseeing Estimates at Completion (EACs), Corporate Statistical Review (CSR), LongRange Planning (LRP), and OSEC metrics-while continually seeking ways to improve financial processes and reporting. As an excellent communicator, you can translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for program leadership and executive audiences. You thrive on partnering across multiple functions, aligning diverse stakeholders, and driving program success through disciplined financial stewardship.
