Job description

Paralegal (Corporate, Business & Finance)

Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Job Type: Full-Time | Onsite

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to support a busy corporate, business, and finance legal practice. This role focuses on business transactions, corporate governance, entity management, and financial/legal documentation. The ideal candidate has a strong background in corporate law, business law, or transactional legal work and enjoys working directly with clients in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and file business entity formations (LLCs, corporations, partnerships) and related corporate filings
  • Draft and revise operating agreements, corporate resolutions, shareholder agreements, and governance documents
  • Support business transactions, including organizing, reviewing, and maintaining transactional and financial documentation
  • Assist with contract preparation, review, and execution, including use of e-signature platforms
  • Conduct legal and regulatory research related to corporate, business, and finance matters
  • Maintain corporate records, minute books, and compliance documentation
  • Manage calendars, deadlines, and filings to ensure timely completion of corporate and transactional work
  • Coordinate with clients, attorneys, financial professionals, and third-party vendors
  • Organize and maintain document management systems for corporate and transactional files
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of paralegal experience, with a focus on corporate, business, finance, or transactional law
  • Strong knowledge of entity formation, corporate governance, and business transactions
  • Experience supporting contracts, corporate filings, and financial/legal documentation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with DocuSign, Adobe, and document management systems
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to manage multiple corporate and transactional matters in a deadline-driven environment
