Job description

The Houston office is seeking a Legal Assistant to join our Finance & Lending Practice Group. This Assistant provides support to a busy finance & lending practice in a fast paced and deadline driven environment. Assists with the closing of various transactions by preparing execution documents as well as coordinating and organizing closing binders. Provides additional administrative support including transcription, attorney time input and coordination of invoicing. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of five years' experience in corporate transactional, real estate, and finance and banking law in a law firm setting. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, styles, and redlining as well as knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint are required. The position requires an energetic self-starter with superior organizational and multi-tasking skills and a strong attention to detail.
