About the Internship Program:
This is a part-time internship from January 2023 - May 2023, totaling 10-15 hours per week (i.e., 2-3 hours per day) through the school year. Hours are flexible based on class schedules.
As an Ameriprise Financial intern, you will gain exposure to leaders, cultivate your business intuition, work on projects that directly impact the business, and network in a welcoming atmosphere. In addition, you will have access to our Business Resource Networks, including the Black Employee Network, Young Professionals Network, PRIDE Network, and others!
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities vary depending on assigned projects(s) and may include:

• Participating on project teams responsible for implementing new programs for advisors
• Recommending and leading enhancements to existing processes
• Creating, updating, and managing review processes for new/existing communications
• Drafting and maintaining project plans and status reports
• Capturing and tracking project issues and assisting with resolution

Examples of past intern projects include:

• Supporting the development of internal reporting capabilities
• Building and reviewing content for internal website
• Providing analysis on advisor-facing program, assessing its success and identifying opportunities for improvement
• Reviewing existing assets and providing recommendations for internal learning pathways

Required Qualifications

• Current Sophomore or Junior at a 4-year university pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics, Communications, Human Resources, Business Analytics, or related field
• Graduation date of December 2023/2024 or May/June 2024/2025
• Demonstrated leadership experience

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using data to identify trends and opportunities

The company does not offer corporate undergraduate internships for students with F-1 visas.
If you are not located close to a physical office, remote work is considered for qualified candidates.
Base Pay Salary
The estimated hourly rate for this role is $31.00 per hour. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
