About the Role
EveryMind is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our Accounting Department. As a Finance Intern, you will work closely with members of the Accounting and Finance team and gain exposure to day-to-day financial processes, reporting, and administrative functions. You will have the opportunity to apply what you are learning in the classroom to real-world accounting activities while developing valuable professional skills.

What You Will Do
Under the guidance of the Accounting and Finance team, the Finance Intern may assist with:
โ€ข Supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
โ€ข Assisting with data entry and maintaining accurate financial records.
โ€ข Helping reconcile general ledger accounts and accounting records and researching discrepancies.
โ€ข Supporting the preparation of financial reports, spreadsheets, and accounting schedules.
โ€ข Assisting with month-end and year-end accounting activities.
โ€ข Organizing and maintaining electronic and physical financial records.
โ€ข Helping track payments, deposits, and other financial transactions.
โ€ข Supporting audits and other accounting projects as needed.
โ€ข Learning and following nonprofit accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
โ€ข Maintaining confidentiality and exercising professionalism when handling financial information.
