Job description

Position Summary

The Data and Reporting Analyst position is full-time, 40 hours per week (exempt, benefits eligible) and will primarily take place at our Little Village location. This role is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and communicating data that demonstrates program outcomes, organizational impact, and key performance metrics. The position develops reports and presentations for internal leadership, funders, and external partners, helping support data-informed decision-making and reporting requirements. May require some local travel (reimbursable). Pay commensurate with experience. This position is in-person.

Job Responsibilities

Data Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare, review, and distribute weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Produce reports for funders, external partners, and organizational leadership.
  • Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, outcomes, and performance measures.
  • Translate complex data into clear, accessible reports, presentations, and narratives.
  • Support strategic planning by reporting on organizational metrics and impact.

Data Management & Quality Assurance

  • Gather, validate, and reconcile data from multiple sources.
  • Identify and resolve inaccurate, incomplete, or inconsistent data.
  • Maintain reporting accuracy and communicate data corrections as needed.
  • Ensure confidentiality, data security, and compliance with reporting requirements.
  • Support implementation and analysis of surveys, assessments, focus groups, and other data collection methods.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Collaborate with staff, leadership, funders, and external partners to meet reporting needs.
  • Present findings and provide insights that support decision-making.
  • Consult with the Data Manager and Director of Data and Program Evaluation on reporting and data-related issues.
  • Participate in meetings, trainings, and grant-related discussions related to data and reporting.

Project Management & Administrative Support

  • Manage reporting timelines and ensure timely submission of deliverables.
  • Assist with audits, evaluations, and documentation requirements.
  • Approve timecards and maintain records related to reporting activities.
  • Demonstrates New Life Centers’ values.
  • Attends required meetings and trainings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Data and Program Evaluation as priorities may change based on organizational needs.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience working with data systems, reporting, and analysis.
  • Relevant degree or coursework in Data Analytics, Sociology, Psychology, Criminology, or a related field.
  • Coding experience required; Python or similar programming skills preferred.

Technical Skills

  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience with databases and information-tracking systems.
  • Knowledge of additional database software preferred.
