Controller – Residential Construction Accounting

A growing residential construction company is seeking a hands-on Controller with strong construction accounting expertise to lead the accounting department and supervise a team of five.

Position Overview:

The Controller will oversee all financial and accounting functions for a growing residential construction organization. ● Coordinate audits, tax reporting, and relationships with external financial partners.
● Drive process improvements and maximize accounting system efficiencies.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
● 7+ years of accounting experience within residential construction, homebuilding, or related construction environments.
● Previous Controller, Assistant Controller, Accounting Manager, or Senior Construction Accountant experience preferred.
● Strong expertise in job costing and project-based accounting.
