Job description

Job Opportunity: Site Financial Controller

Location: Coos County, OR

Compensation: $90,000 – $125,000 + 20% Performance Bonus

Relocation: Assistance available for the right candidate

The Opportunity

We are seeking a high-caliber Site Financial Controller to serve as a strategic partner to our local leadership team. In this role, you won’t just be "crunching numbers"—you will be a vital advisor, bridging the gap between financial data and operational excellence.

As a privately held organization with nearly a century of history, we pride ourselves on a culture of stability, integrity, and community. This position is designed for a proactive financial professional who enjoys being "on the floor" as much as in the spreadsheet, helping to steer the financial health of a high-output facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Advisory: Partner with site management to dissect production costs and efficiency trends, translating data into actionable operational strategies.

  • Commercial Insights: Support our sales and commercial teams by providing deep-dive analysis into pricing structures and margin optimization.

  • Financial Oversight: Manage the end-to-end month-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and rigorous inventory accuracy.

  • Forecasting & Planning: Drive the development of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial outlooks; you will evaluate key assumptions and model the financial impact of capital investments.

  • Continuous Improvement: Act as the financial lead for site-wide initiatives aimed at streamlining processes and enhancing profitability.

Who You Are
  • Education: You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a closely related Finance field.

  • Experience: You bring at least 3+ years of professional accounting experience, ideally within a complex operational environment.

  • Technical Edge: You are highly proficient in costing models, margin analysis, and GAAP standards. Your Excel skills are advanced.

  • Soft Skills: You are a "self-starter" who communicates clearly with both executive leadership and frontline staff. You have a knack for solving problems before they hit the bottom line.

Why Join Us?

We offer a workplace that values your mental and physical well-being as much as your professional output. Our benefits package is designed to support you at every stage of life:

  • Financial Security: Competitive salary, a 20% annual incentive plan, and a 401(k) with a robust company match.

  • Work-Life Balance: 11 paid holidays and 3 weeks of initial vacation time.

  • Health & Wellness: Comprehensive medical/dental/vision plans, Health Savings Account (HSA) contributions, and 8 free mental health sessions annually.

  • Growth: Generous educational assistance and ongoing professional development support.

  • Family Support: Paid parental bonding leave and comprehensive disability coverage.
