Job description

Badger Talent Solutions is seeking a Controller for a full-time, on-site opportunity in the Greater Kenosha Area. This is a hands-on leadership role reporting directly to the President and overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of a growing manufacturing organization.


We're looking for a finance leader who enjoys being involved in the details while also helping drive strategic business decisions. This position will lead the accounting team, provide operational financial insight, and play a key role in supporting the company's continued growth.

📊 Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all accounting and financial reporting activities, including month-end and year-end close processes
  • Manage and develop accounting staff while overseeing daily accounting operations
  • Prepare financial statements, forecasts, budgets, and management reporting packages
  • Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory, margins, and operational performance to support decision-making
  • Drive cost accounting initiatives and ensure accurate product costing and inventory valuation
  • Partner with operations and leadership to improve profitability, financial controls, and business processes


✅ Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA strongly preferred
  • Experience as a Controller, Assistant Controller, or Senior Accounting Leader within a manufacturing environment
  • Background in cost accounting, inventory accounting, and manufacturing financial analysis
  • Experience managing and developing accounting teams
  • Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and internal controls
  • ERP system experience and advanced Excel skills preferred
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with executives and operational leaders
