About the role
Job Summary
Serve as the strategic finance business partner to Operations by driving financial performance through product costing, inventory governance, cost management, forecasting, reporting, and operational decision support. The role supports Operations leadership with actionable financial insights, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring financial discipline and business performance optimization.Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the finance business partner to Operations leadership.
  • Provide monthly reporting, variance analysis, and business performance commentary.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and operational planning processes.
  • Monitor operational KPIs and translate operational results into financial impact.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and financial governance processes.
  • Analyze manufacturing costs and operating expenses and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Monitor cost center performance and support productivity initiatives.
  • Maintain product costing structures and support standard cost updates.
  • Analyze material, labor, and overhead variances and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support pricing, profitability, and margin analysis.
  • Oversee inventory valuation, accuracy, and inventory-related KPIs.
  • Support cycle count, physical inventory, reserve analysis, and working capital initiatives.
  • Develop and enhance reporting tools, dashboards, and financial controls.
  • Monitor CAPEX spending against approved budgets and provide variance analysis and reporting
  • Ensure sustainability and financial accuracy of reported savings initiatives.
  • Analyze open order intake, backlog, and shipment performance to support forecast accuracy and period-end reporting.
  • Monitor inventory, receivables, and operational working capital performance. Partner with functional leaders to identify opportunities for cash flow improvement
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing controlling and/or cost accounting
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred if applicable)
  • Advanced Excel
  • Drive accountability for financial performance.
  • Ability to identify root causes and drive corrective actions.
  • Data-driven decision making.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and business partnering skills.
