Schedule Details/Additional Information:
Zero Assigned position to support delivery tech for medical equipment delivery Typical usage 10-12 hours a week.
Pay Range
$20.80 - $31.20
Major Responsibilities:
• Handles customer complaints regarding timeliness of deliveries or quality of products for areas of responsibility.
• Aids field staff with questions regarding equipment.
• Stocks and maintains vehicle inventory.
• Knowledgeable and competent on the basic DME and specific RT equipment.
• Responsible for accurate and timely delivery, pick-up and or switch out of DME and RT equipment.
• Completes paperwork in a neat, accurate, timely manner in accordance with regulatory rules.
• Maintains and operates company vehicles in accordance with company policies, procedures and regulatory agencies.
• Operates vehicle in accordance with local laws.
• Works on-call schedule as indicated by management.
• Attends meetings and handle other duties as assigned.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:
• A valid driver's license issued by the Division of Motor Vehicles.
Education Required:
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Experience Required:
• 1 year related experience in customer service, deliveries, etc.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
• Previous work experience dealing with customers, patients, or the general public.
• Ability to use tact, discretion, and good customer service skills to be able to interact with customers and patients. Must be able to verbally explain the operation of the equipment.
• Must be dependable, able to work independently, handle interruptions, and follow directions. Must be able to maintain accurate records and maintenance systems.
• Must possess and provide proof of a valid Illinois or Wisconsin Driver's License and a registered, functional car with adequate insurance coverage.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
• Must have manual dexterity to operate a variety of office and business equipment.
• Must be able to sit, stand and walk for prolonged periods in order to analyze and prepare information.
• Must have the physical agility to move about in confined spaces, including bending, kneeling, squatting and occasionally reaching one or both arms over the head.
• Must be able to lift, push or pull 75 lbs.
• Must be able to maneuver up to 122 lbs on a dolly up and down ramp and/or stairs as needed.
• Must be able to speak and hear clearly to be able to communicate with people in person or over the telephone.
• Subject to occasional temperature and road fluctuations during required business travel or during warehouse/dock work.
• Subject to exposure to chemical and hazardous waste and communicable disease.
