About JETSET Pilates Franchising
At JETSET Pilates Franchising, we are scaling a premium, data-driven franchise platform in the boutique fitness space, built around Modern Pilates studios and a rapidly expanding national footprint. Our business model combines brand-led growth with disciplined financial management, supporting franchise partners through rigorous site economics, unit-level performance analytics, and systemwide forecasting to drive sustainable expansion. We operate in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment where financial insight directly informs strategic decisions across development pacing, capital allocation, pricing, and margin optimization. The Financial Analyst will play a critical role in transforming operational and financial data into actionable intelligence that guides leadership, supports franchisee success, and underpins our next phase of growth.
Position Overview
The Financial Analyst will own core FP&A execution for JETSET Pilates Franchising, partner closely with Accounting to support strong controllership and accurate financial reporting, and drive actionable insights for leadership and franchise partners. This role sits at the intersection of financial planning, operational performance, and strategic decision-making, translating data into clarity across development pacing, unit economics, and company-wide performance.
Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning, Analysis & Controllership Partnership:
  • Support financial forecasting and budgeting processes through data-driven insights
  • Month-end close process execution and ownership to a high degree
  • Work with Accounting partners to ensure controllership priorities
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses to address specific business questions
  • Create financial dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators
  • Help oversee invoice, payment, and other processes for controllership and proper general ledger coding

  • Data Management and Analysis:
  • Collect, clean, and organize data from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability
  • Track departmental KPI's on a weekly/monthly, and quarterly basis
  • Evolve and support company data dashboard
  • Develop and implement data analysis processes to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities

  • Company and Departmental Analysis:
  • Leverage financial and operational data to provide insights on business drivers and downstream impacts
  • Identify operational inefficiencies through data analysis
  • Support franchise performance evaluation with standardized metrics
  • Marketing Examples: Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and sales promotions using relevant metrics; analyze customer acquisition costs, retention rates, and lifetime value; provide recommendations to optimize marketing spend and improve campaign performance

  • Reporting and Visualization:
  • Create comprehensive financial reports and visualizations to communicate findings effectively
  • Use the company's financial and accounting tools to build, refine, and expand JETSET's custom financial reports and dashboards, delivering clear insights on unit and system performance.
  • Collaborate with BI team members on dashboards for various stakeholders
  • Present complex data in an accessible format for non-technical audiences

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Partner with departments across the organization to build financial modeling and help them understand the financial drivers and outputs of their business
  • Translate business questions into analytical financial frameworks
  • Communicate insights and recommendations to drive business decisions
  • Partner with department leaders and executive leadership to align FP&A outputs with strategic priorities and operating decisions

  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in finance and accounting
  • Recommend and implement improvements to finance and accounting processes, data construction and storage, and analysis processes
  • Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency in reporting workflows

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or business intelligence
  • Technical Skills: Advanced Excel, proficiency in SQL, and experience with BI tools (such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker). Experience with Quickbooks, Qvinci, or Mindbody is a plus.
  • Data Modeling: Advanced Excel experience, SQL, or similar modeling basis
  • Programming: Knowledge of Python, R, or similar programming languages is a plus
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with different teams
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in franchise, retail, or fitness industries is a plus

$110,000 - $130,000 a year
