Employment Type: 12+ Month W2 Contract with Potential for Conversion (No C2C or Sponsorship Available)

Overview

Talent Groups is seeking a detail oriented Financial Analyst to support a financial operations and program management team. This role focuses on project financials including invoicing, forecasting, reporting, and operational analysis for complex client programs.

The ideal candidate brings experience in financial operations, invoice management, forecasting, and reporting, along with strong Excel skills, analytical ability, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and manage customer invoices accurately and on time
• Partner with Project Managers, Operations, and Finance to improve billing accuracy
• Perform financial analysis on project costs, revenue, and forecasting
• Develop and maintain financial forecast models
• Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and cost drivers
• Support variance and cost impact analysis
• Build and maintain reports from multiple business systems
• Maintain SOPs and financial documentation
• Support revenue optimization and billing issue resolution
• Maintain financial data and SAP activity mappings
• Improve reporting accuracy and operational processes with business partners

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial operations
• Advanced Excel skills including formulas, reporting, and analysis
• Experience with invoicing, A/P, A/R, reporting, or forecasting
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• High attention to detail and ability to manage priorities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
• Experience with financial modeling and forecasting
• SAP or similar ERP system experience
• Experience with G/L, A/P, and A/R processes
• Experience supporting project based financial operations
