Senior Financial Analyst

Location: Los Angeles, CA; hybrid (onsite 2-3 days/week)

Type: FTE, direct hire

Compensation: $120,000–$150,000/year with equity

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the finance team of a growing technology company in the digital assets space. This position will play a key role in financial planning, forecasting, strategic analysis, and business decision support across multiple areas of the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead rolling forecasts, annual planning, and scenario analysis across assigned business areas.
  • Build and maintain financial models to support strategic planning, capital decisions, and new business initiatives.
  • Analyze financial performance, operating metrics, unit economics, and key business drivers to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Prepare financial reporting, executive presentations, and business review materials for senior leadership.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Business Development, and other teams to evaluate investments, pricing, and strategic initiatives.
  • Combine financial, operational, and market data to provide actionable recommendations and support business decisions.
  • Improve recurring FP&A processes through automation, including forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting.
  • Use generative AI and workflow automation tools to streamline financial analysis and reduce manual work.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, corporate finance, investment banking, or a related field.
  • Advanced financial modeling skills with Excel and/or Google Sheets proficiency.
  • Demonstrated experience using AI tools to support or automate financial analysis and reporting (practical implementation in recurring finance workflows rather than standalone chat-based use).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, including experience presenting financial insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Understanding of Bitcoin, cryptocurrency, or digital asset markets.
  • Experience with workflow automation tools such as n8n, Zapier, Make, or similar platforms (preferred).
  • Familiarity with SQL, Python, LLM APIs, or other automation technologies (preferred).
  • Experience with ERP or BI platforms such as NetSuite, Looker, or Tableau (preferred).
  • Experience in crypto, fintech, or a high-growth startup environment (preferred).
  • CFA, MBA, or another relevant advanced credential is a plus (preferred).
