Job Summary:
Virtu Financial is a leading financial firm that leverages cutting-edge technology to offer liquidity to the global markets. They are seeking an Automation Analyst to improve workflows and systems, focusing on developing tools that simplify operational trading tasks and enhance post-trade processes.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Build, maintain and refine workflows involving our multiple databases and system API's
โ€ข Serve as point of contact for triaging and debugging
โ€ข Act as process owner and document all use cases
โ€ข Collaborate closely with trading operations team to identify creative solutions that rely on automation of their tasks
โ€ข Manage the balance of work between longer term goals and immediate production workflows; to ensure progress is made on important initiatives and that the team is supported
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
โ€ข Strong working knowledge of Python; experience with Pandas a strong plus
โ€ข Strong working knowledge of SQL
โ€ข 2+ years of working experience preferred but talented graduates will be considered
โ€ข Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to collaborate with others
โ€ข The ability to translate complex problems into practical working solutions
โ€ข Outstanding quantitative problemโ€solving skills
โ€ข The ability to communicate information precisely and with agility
