Job Description We are seeking an Business Analyst / Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in business analysis, data quality, SQL-based analytics, and program governance, and a proven ability to coordinate onboarding of projects, enforce governance controls, and deliver portfolio reporting and risk management outcomes. Responsibilities: Coordinate and oversee onboarding of incoming projects into the program. Ensure compliance with governance processes, including tollgates, risk assessments, regulatory controls, change management, and documentation standards. Provide centralized tracking, reporting, and issue management across the portfolio. Monitor program health, delivery risks, dependencies, and escalations. Perform data quality checks using internal data source systems, including validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting. Drive consistency in governance execution and align projects with organizational expectations and delivery commitments. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline. 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, financial technology, risk management, or a related field. Hands-on proficiency with SQL and relational databases to query and analyze large datasets. Proven ability to investigate, validate, reconcile, and troubleshoot complex data issues across multiple source systems. Experience with data quality assessments, root cause analysis, and data lineage reviews. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate findings into actionable insights. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with business stakeholders, technology teams, and project management teams. Experience supporting project governance, regulatory, or risk initiatives within financial services. Preferred Skills: Automation, data extraction, and reporting using Python and VB Scripting (VBScript/VBA). Building data analysis frameworks, validation routines, and reconciliation processes in Python. Automating data quality checks, exception reporting, and workflows through scripting. Proficiency with Pandas, NumPy, and OpenPyXL. Integration of database queries, file processing, and reporting via automated scripts. Knowledge of Excel VBA/VB Scripting for macros and reporting tools. Familiarity with version control, code reviews, testing, and documentation practices. Experience supporting large-scale financial, risk, or regulatory reporting environments through automation and analytics. Additional Details: Start: ASAP. Expected start 2-4 weeks after offer.
