Financial Analyst I

A Brief Overview
This role will be responsible for verifying and reconciling financial data to support business decisions. This includes preparing reports for stakeholders, ensuring compliance standards, and assisting with process improvement and development. This role will also assist with the financial close process.
What You Will Do
  • Assist in monitoring, verifying, and reconciling data for the Finance Operations Department.
  • Assist with preparing financial operations reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
  • Prepare various standard reports based on an established schedule.
  • Assist with the monthly financial close process, which may include account reconciliations, variance analysis commentary, and system reconciliations.
  • Conduct cost/benefit and breakeven analyses for various projects as assigned.

What You Will Need
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Less than 1 year of experience in financial analysis, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Strong Excel skills, including creating and managing pivot tables, performing data validation, and preparing accurate reports for stakeholders.

Expected Work Location (In Office)
It is expected that you will primarily perform work at the Safelite Home Office (7400 Safelite Way, Columbus, OH 43235). You are required to work in the office at least 4 days a week. Changes to work location arrangements are subject to managerial approval and business needs. #LI-Onsite #LI-MH1
