Under the direction of the VP of Development Accounting and Finance, the Financial Analyst manages the financial aspects of projects as they progress through both the development and construction phases.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Essential Functions Statement(s):

  • Perform financial analysis of cash flows, job cost tracking and project funding.
  • Create financial reporting packages that include property cash flows, construction completion, valuations and loan sizing's as well as property and borrower/investor analysis.
  • Serve as a liaison with equity partners, third party owners and lenders.
  • Collaborate with developers, project managers and third party vendors/consultants to organize and facilitate funding and draw requests with various capital sources.
  • Identify budget variances and assist in preparing change orders to project budgets.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports to meet joint venture and lending requirements.
  • Analyze projects for completion, make necessary journal entries and reconcile general ledgers to project budgets.
  • Prepare and present monthly Project Performance Review reports as required by management.
  • Construct and manage detailed Microsoft Excel models as they relate to project specific cash flow and equity partner distributions.

SKILLS & ABILITIES


Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA/MBA preferred

Experience: 3-5+ years of relevant experience.Strong emphasis placed upon your record of teamwork, communication skills and ability to work in a fast paced and challenging environment

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Timberline software a plus

This position offers a salary up to $90,000 annually, depending on experience level.
