Job description

What we need

Corpay Inc. is currently looking to hire a Senior Analyst, Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting within our Accounting division.  This position falls under our Corporate Payments line of business. In this role, the Senior Analyst will assist with research and technical documentation to ensure continued compliance with U.S. GAAP, including research and analysis of new accounting pronouncements. You will report directly to the Chief Accounting Officer and regularly collaborate with the team and other departments.

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Assisting with research and technical documentation to ensure continued compliance with U.S. GAAP, including research and analysis of new accounting pronouncements
  • Analyzing financial, technical accounting, and operational impacts of non-routine transactions as required
  • Analyzing and assisting with the preparation and monitoring of accounting policies for business activities across the organization in compliance with U.S. GAAP
  • Assisting with the preparation of financial reports filed with the SEC, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, and quarterly earnings releases


Qualifications & Skills

  • Big 4 audit experience or public company financial reporting experience is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SOX/internal controls, and public company financial statement preparation and disclosures
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Licensed CPA Required
  • 3+ years of accounting/audit experience
  • Ability to research U.S. GAAP and summarize conclusions and applicability to the Company via a technical accounting memo
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced, complex, dynamic, multi-national business environment
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
