Members of our marketing team work on all aspects of the brand and its portfolio of products, including consumer insights, advertising, consumer promotion, shopper marketing, new products, sales, operations and finance. As a member of this team, your responsibilities could include leading the development of integrated marketing efforts, leading advertising and packaging development, promotional and website development, creating and executing media strategies and plans, championing new products, advancing consumer insights and brand strategy, and collaborating with sales teams to develop strategic partnerships. The marketing team is an integral part of the organization's overall success.

Position Overview

We're seeking a passionate and strategic Senior Associate Brand Manager to help drive growth in the Breakfast Occasion space, which covers forms like breakfast links, patties in uncooked, cooked, refrigerated and frozen formats. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on uncovering consumer insights, shaping category strategy, and collaborating cross-functionally to bring compelling ideas to life. You'll play a key role in helping Johnsonville develop and execute the strategies of these products as we grow the  breakfast occasion. 

Responsibilities

   Support senior brand manager in strategy development and brand planning for products in the Breakfast Occasion.
   Responsible for near-term (12-18 month) execution of brand and organizational strategies across the breakfast portfolio.
   Lead integrated business planning and consumption forecasting in partnership with demand planning team.
   Support efforts on Private Label business to reduce operational complexity and improve margins
   Identify and activate consumer insights to drive brand relevance and category growth.
   Collaborate with cross functional partners in category leadership, sales, R&D, pricing and sales strategy to drive execution and activation at retail.
   Develop and deliver near-in innovation and renovation initiatives that keep the brand fresh and newsworthy, while partnering with senior brand manager to develop long-term innovation strategy and pipelines
   Provide ongoing analysis of brand performance, competitive activity, and category dynamics to inform decision-making.

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in related field and MBA is required
Experience

    3+ years of marketing experience preferred

   Demonstrated ability to solve problems, create new business and/or elevate existing business to higher levels of performance
   Collaborative and can deliver strong results in close partnership with others across work areas, functions and geographies
