Job description

The Financial Analyst role is responsible for preparing sophisticated plan design proposals and financial analyses involving complex funding of non-qualified executive benefit programs including both acquisition of new clients and the ongoing servicing of current clients.
5 days a week in-office at our Lake Mary, FL location
Section 2: Job Functions, Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Works closely with Senior Consultants to provide sophisticated plan modeling and funding solutions for non-qualified benefit plans, including, but not limited to deferred compensation and supplemental executive retirement plans.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with insurance carriers who offer products in the non-qualified benefit plan marketplace and works to gain a thorough understanding of the various products and their applications to our clients.
  • Utilizes insurance carrier software and internal programs to prepare accurate financial modeling for new and existing non-qualified executive benefit clients.
  • Provides detailed modeling assumptions, analysis, recommendation and follow-up analysis on a timely basis.
  • Participates in special projects to enhance productivity/efficiency and our suite of non-qualified services.
  • Responsible for protecting, securing, and proper handling of all confidential data held by Newport to ensure against unauthorized access, improper transmission, and/or unapproved disclosure of information that could result in harm to Ascensus or our clients.
