We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Planner who is passionate about helping clients achieve their financial goals while driving business growth. This is a production-focused role for a financial professional who enjoys developing new client relationships, expanding existing relationships, and serving as a trusted advisor through comprehensive financial planning.


About the Role

As a Financial Planner, you will play a key role in growing Larson Financial Group by developing new business opportunities, strengthening relationships with existing clients, and delivering comprehensive financial planning strategies. You'll be expected to build and manage a book of business through referrals, networking, centers of influence, and firm-provided opportunities while partnering with our internal planning and operations teams to deliver an exceptional client experience.

This position is ideal for an ambitious advisor who enjoys both the consultative sales process and the technical aspects of financial planning, with compensation tied to production and long-term client success.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow a personal book of business by acquiring new clients and expanding existing client relationships.
  • Conduct prospect and client meetings to identify financial planning opportunities and recommend comprehensive wealth management solutions.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships that result in long-term client retention and referrals.
  • Generate new assets under management through networking, referrals, professional relationships, and firm marketing initiatives.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive financial plans addressing retirement, investment, tax, estate, insurance, and wealth transfer strategies.
  • Collaborate with investment advisors and internal specialists to deliver customized recommendations and implement client strategies.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities across the firm's full suite of financial planning and wealth management services.
  • Maintain an active client contact strategy to strengthen relationships and create additional planning opportunities.
  • Manage the client onboarding process and ensure a seamless transition from prospect to long-term client.
  • Maintain accurate client records within CRM and financial planning software while adhering to regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Stay current on industry trends, investment strategies, and financial planning best practices.


Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in financial planning, wealth management, or financial advisory services.
  • Demonstrated success in business development, client acquisition, or growing client relationships preferred.
  • Series 7 and Series 66 licenses required.
  • CFP® designation preferred or willingness to obtain.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience within the wealth management, financial planning, or insurance industry.
  • Experience using Salesforce, eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, or similar CRM and financial planning software.
