The Public Safety Officer (Security Officer) is responsible for patrolling JHMI campus via foot, mobile unit or bicycle to protect against illegal activities, theft, fire, vandalism, hazardous conditions,
infringements, etc.

Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or coursework in security, law enforcement, or
    healthcare-related fields preferred.

Requirements:
  • Requires current certification in use of Corporate Security Services self defense equipment.

Work Experience:
  • The candidate must have one (1) year of security experience in the Public Safety Officer
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
