Are you a seasoned paralegal who knows U.C.C. filings, financial transactions, and closing processes like the back of your hand? We’re looking for a Finance Paralegal to join a sophisticated legal team and play a key role in large-scale commercial finance transactions.

Responsibilities:
  • Support attorneys on commercial loans, securitizations, and other corporate finance transactions
  • Prepare and coordinate U.C.C. financing statements and fixture filings
  • Research Article 9 and U.C.C. issues
  • Review lien search reports and prepare detailed lien summaries
  • Obtain formation/incorporation documents and draft ancillary closing documents
  • Review, organize, and summarize due diligence materials
  • Help coordinate closings and post-closing activities
  • Review closing documents for completeness and compliance
  • Prepare and distribute closing books
  • Jump in on additional projects as needed by attorneys and the paralegal manager
What We're Looking For
  • 10+ years of experience at a law firm
  • Strong background in banking and/or financial transactions
  • Demonstrated U.C.C. experience and proficiency
  • Bachelor’s degree with strong academic credentials
  • Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-accredited program
  • Experience with DocuSign
  • Familiarity with legal case/document management technology
