We are hiring interns for this role in the following locations:
San Francisco, CA (F&S and Treasury)
Atlanta, GA (F&S and Controllership)
Indianapolis, Indiana (F&S, WFP and Procurement)
The Experience
As a Finance Intern at Salesforce, you'll be embedded with one of the Finance functions - Controllership, Finance and Strategy, Treasury, Compliance, Procurement, Internal Audit, or Data and AI. You'll work directly with global teams on financial statement review and analytics, compliance audits, accounting, operational process improvement, and AI implementation, helping drive data-driven insights and Agentic innovation for the Finance organization.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
  • Build AI automations for finance processes and tasks, and demonstrate how these capabilities drive measurable impact for the team
  • Design analytical models (descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, or prescriptive) to support financial decision-making
  • Design, build, or maintain dashboards in business intelligence software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to automate financial reporting and track key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Communicate data-driven insights through visualizations and storytelling to stakeholders across Finance

You're Our Person If...
  • Enrolled and currently pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field
  • Returning to school after Summer 2027 to complete your degree
  • Enrolled in a college or university in North America
  • You have experience using AI Tools and Excel and/or Google Sheets for financial modeling and data analytics
  • You have built or contributed to dashboards or reports in a business intelligence tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • You have experience with data integration across multiple systems or sources
  • You have presented findings or analysis to an audience, in writing or verbally

Even Better If...
  • You have experience building presentations in PowerPoint or Google Slides for data storytelling
  • You have foundational knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python) or data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas)
  • You have exposure to machine learning concepts or AI tools applied to business problems
  • You have familiarity with data governance, data quality frameworks, or data architecture principles
